BORWICK HALL GHOST HUNT

Join iHaunt at Borwick Hall for a Ghost Hunt Event, July 2022.

With parts of the building dating back to the 14th Century, Borwick Hall is a 16th Century manor house. The manor of Borwick is mentioned in the Domesday Book as being a part of Roger of Poitou estate. In 1590circa, the building was purchased by Roger Bindlosse. After which, it remained in the Bindlosse family.
In the 19th Century, the building changed hands by lease to John Alexander Fuller Maitland, who died at Borwick Hall in 1936.
During the Second World War, Borwick Hall was used as a Military Base.

With all this history and more, there is no doubt ghost stories have been told by many. The most notable is the story of the ‘Starved Girl’ who was locked in Pele Tower as a punishment for fighting against her parents about the marriage they had arranged. The young lady starved to death but still seeks revenge. There have been several sightings of a haunting manifestation. A dark shadow appears and touches people’s backs before quickly disappearing. Records show this same haunting has happened on serval occasions during the 2000s.

This Ghost Hunting Event will include a hot food supper and a night full of ghost hunting investigations. Bring your own equipment for a night like no other.
